Sandra Lynn Wright, 75, of Mason City, Iowa, passed away Friday, November 3, 2023 at MercyOne North Iowa Medical Center.
A Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 am on Wednesday, November 8, 2023 at Hogan-Bremer-Moore Colonial Chapel, 126 3rd St NE Mason City, Iowa. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service from 10:00 am to 11:00 am on Wednesday.
Sandra was born on December 27, 1947, the daughter of Charles “Pat” and Ava (Tosel) Coolican, in Mason City, Iowa. She graduated from Sylvania, Ohio in 1966 and then returned to Mason City with her family.
In her free time Sandi enjoyed reading, and going to Spirit Lake with Sally. Sandi always looked forward to Cousins Weekend and the memories that were made and the laughter that was shared. She also liked having coffee with the ladies at the Legacy Manor. Most importantly she loved spending time with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
Those left to cherish memories of Sandra are her children, Alicia (Chad) Seidel, and Heather Glazer; grandchildren, Braxton, Kiley, Noah and Gracie; as well as several great-grandchildren; siblings, Patricia Pietig, James Coolican, Jon Coolican, and Ava (Tom) Pauley; best friend and cousin, Sally Pearson; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
Sandra is preceded in death by her parents, brother in-law, James Pietig, sister in-law, Beatrice Coolican, and nephew Jeff Pietig.
