WASHINGTON, D.C. – Iowa’s four Republican Representatives in Congress all believe the outrageous George Santos should keep his seat and tonight made sure he stays in office by thwarting an attempt to have him ousted.
Tonight, the House voted on the expulsion of Rep. George Santos (R-NY) who is under indictment and facing a House ethics investigation. By a 179 to 213 vote with 19 voting present, the House fails to reach the two-thirds necessary for expulsion.
All of Iowa’s Republican Reps., Randy Feentra, Ashley Hinson, Zachary Nunn, and Mariannette Miller-Meeks, supported Santos.
This was the second attempt to expel the very weird Santos, who was last seen carrying a stray baby around the Capitol grounds to avoid reporters.
Every one of these two-faced dimwits needs to be blown out of office. They don’t serve us, they serve a few very rich people who don’t even live here.
Of course they did. What should we expect from them? They all voted to put a far right extremist in the Speaker’s chair. Crime is not a crime if it is a Republican committing the crime.
So..what about Tlaib? Republicans voted to not censure her, same ones you disapprove of
“Rep. Tlaib’s comments are abhorrent and unbecoming of a member of Congress. However, the resolution was factually flawed and irresponsibly expanded the definition of insurrection. Words matter. I have been, and will remain, a strong defender of Israel,” said Rep. Kelly Armstrong, R-North Dakota.
