IOWA CITY – No. 3/3 Iowa defeated Clarke University, 122-49 on Sunday afternoon in Carver-Hawkeye Arena.
Iowa ended the first quarter on a 20-2 run. The Hawkeyes led 62-18 at halftime.
14,988 attendance marks the ninth sellout in Iowa women’s basketball history. The Hawkeyes set the NCAA record for single game attendance last week against DePaul in Kinnick Stadium. (55,646) It is the largest crowd in program history for an exhibition game.
