CHICAGO – On Monday, October 16, at 8:00 p.m. ET, the Big Ten Network will debut The B1G Trip: Iowa Women’s Basketball in Europe Presented by DIRECTV. The B1G Trip takes viewers behind-the-scenes with the 2023 national runner-up Hawkeye women’s basketball team for three exhibition games on an 11-day tour of Italy and Croatia.
B1G Network Originals cameras embedded with the team to capture on and off court moments. Highlights include a pizza-making class in Naples, sightseeing on the Amalfi Coast, ziplining in Croatia and kayaking in the Adriatic Sea. Plus, a look at the game action as the Hawkeyes play their first three contests since last year’s national championship.

This is the third season of The B1G Trip, and the first season to feature a women’s team. Subsequent episodes will debut on Monday, October 23rd and Monday, October 30th – also at 8:00 PM Eastern.
