Linda Mae Riggan, 75, of Plymouth, IA passed away surrounded by her family on Saturday, July 29, 2023, at MercyOne North Iowa Medical Center. Linda was born on March 19, 1948, in Mason City and graduated from Mason City High School.

Linda Mae Riggan, 75, of Plymouth, IA passed away surrounded by her family on Saturday, July 29, 2023, at MercyOne North Iowa Medical Center.

A visitation will be held from 5-7 p.m. on Tuesday, August 1, 2023, at Fullerton Funeral Home, 123 2nd St SE, Mason City. A memorial service will be held at 10:30 a.m. with a one-hour prior visitation on Wednesday, August, 2, 2023, at Fullerton Funeral Home with Pastor Linda Johnson Prestholt officiating. Inurnment will take place following the service at Memorial Park Cemetery.

Linda was born on March 19, 1948, in Mason City to Merle and Ella (Hoffman) Larson. She attended Mason City Schools and graduated from Mason City High School. Linda was united in marriage on August 15, 1970, to Marvin Riggan at Zion Lutheran Church in Rockford until Marvin’s passing in 1982. Linda was a Department Manager at Walmart in Mason City for 24 years and retired in 2019.

Linda absolutely loved her Pomeranian dog, Diva. Her hobbies included crocheting and crafting. She liked going to garage sales and was an avid camper for many years at Lake of the Woods campground. Linda was known to have Friday night bonfires where she would often doze off while mid-conversation. She had a very outspoken personality and wasn’t afraid to be direct and to the point. She loved attending her grandchildren’s activities, whether it was a band concert or baseball game. Holidays were very important to Linda; especially Easter egg hunts and her favorite, Christmas. Linda prioritized spending time with her family as often as she could.

Those left to cherish her memory include her daughters: Michelle (Chad) Kamish of Plymouth; Holli Jo (Ryan) Austin of Mason City and Mandie (Tracy) Studer of Wesley; grandchildren: Tiffany Maxwell and special friend Jeff, Maggie (Cory) Taylor, Brandi Riggan, Kirsty Riggert and special friend Tom, Johnny (Jamie) Studer, Gavyn Gronbach, Halo Gronbach, Ace Studer, Chance Studer, great-grandchildren: Izzy, Hazel Mae, Cayde Alan and one on the way; fur baby, Diva and grand-fur-babies, Maggie and Daisy; cousins: Romaine Everett, John Everett, Don Everett, Wayne Everett and Roger Everett.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Marvin Riggan; parents, Merle and Ella Larson and daughter, Jessica Riggan.
