Judy Miller, 82, of Ankeny, formerly of Waterloo and Marble Rock, passed away Monday, July 17, 2023, at the Bridges of Ankeny Care Center. Judith Ann Miller was born May 10, 1941, at Marble Rock.

Judy Miller, 82, of Ankeny, formerly of Waterloo and Marble Rock, passed away Monday, July 17, 2023, at the Bridges of Ankeny Care Center. Funeral services will be held at 12:00 p.m., Thursday, July 20, 2023, at Counsell Woodley Funeral Home, 519 N. 1st St., Greene, Iowa. Interment will be at West Side Cemetery, Marble Rock, Iowa. Visitation will be held one hour before the service at the funeral home. Counsell Woodley Funeral Home of Greene is caring for Judy and her family.

Judith Ann Miller was born May 10, 1941, at Marble Rock, the daughter of Elston and Ella Mae Arhart. She attended Marble Rock Schools and graduated from RRMR High School with the class of 1959. She attended Kingsway University and Theological Seminary in Norwalk, Iowa.

Judy was united in marriage with James Miller on September 14, 1983, in Waterloo. She was the manager at an accounting firm for many years and served as a Pastor alongside Jim for several years. She was a member of the Christian Motorcycle Association and rode motorcycle in all fifty states and much of Canada. Judy kept busy quilting, doing ceramics and other crafts. With Jim, she won many awards for their ballroom dancing and thoroughly loved the dancing. Devoted to her family, she enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Judy is survived by her children: Patricia Seery Markowitz, Woodstock, IL; Jacquelene (Lee) Patch, Chelsea, MI; David Seery, Ankeny; Steve (Sara) Miller, Rice Lake, WI; five grandchildren and three great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband Jim, son Daniel Seery, her parents and brother Robert Arhart.

i her great grandson Ethan, its very sad i was at her funeral she was the most wonderful person in the world, she loved god she is in a good place now, in her name we love amen
