Lois Kay (Howard) Jensen, 75, of Estherville, passed away peacefully the morning of June 29, 2023, in her home at the age of 75.
Lois was born in Estherville to William and Lillian (Weir) Howard on May 19, 1948, and was raised in the Estherville area. She graduated from Lincoln Central High School in 1966, and not long after married the love of her life, Walter Jensen. Walt and Lois settled down in the Estherville area and raised three children, Joan, Jill and James.
Lois was an active member of the First Presbyterian Church in Estherville where she served as a Church Elder. She enjoyed bowling, reading, her genealogy group, but her true love was family. Lois was always in attendance at all of her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren’s activities, and especially loved having the family together for holidays and events.
Lois is survived by her husband, Walt; children, Joan (Gary) Heckard, Jill (Joel) Heiserman and James (Vicky) Jensen; five grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; and her siblings, Mary (Mike) Fox, Jeanne (David) Egeland, Diana (Skip) Clabaugh, Glenn (Bonnie) Howard, and John Howard.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
