Ingrid “Oma” Luise Mueller, 86, of Hampton, passed away Thursday, June 8, 2023, at the Rehabilitation Center of Hampton. Services will be held at a later date. Counsell Woodley Funeral Home and Cremation Services of Hampton is caring for Ingrid and her family.
Ingrid was born December 31, 1936, in Pforzheim, Germany, daughter of Eugene and Luise (Dietz) Mueller. She attended schools through the eighth grade and then furthered her education at a jewelry making trade school in Germany. Ingrid left Germany when she was 34 years old.
Ingrid enjoyed reading, cooking and gardening. She also enjoyed puzzles, sewing and crocheting. Ingrid loved spending time with her family; as family meant everything to her!
Ingrid is survived by her children: Connie (Carl) Hilbelink of Cottage Grove, Wisconsin, Ronald (Jean) Mueller of Ankeny, Susan Trecker of Carroll and Ducky Mueller of Hampton; bonus daughter Sue Bellinger of Hampton; grandchildren: Pam, Teresa, Amy (Andy Martin), Paul, Zane, Marissa (Colby Peterson), Cody, William (Tabatha Storesund), Hannah (Chris Hackett), Chloe and Emily; great grandchildren: Austin, Jonah, Christian, Chloe and Maverick.
She was preceded in death by her parents, brother Manfred Bischof and son-in-law Marlo Trecker.
