Cedar Rapids Police are investigating a Tuesday night shooting in the 1500 block of Oakland Rd NE that left two adult males wounded. At approximately 10:54 PM, Joint Communication Agency dispatchers received multiple calls for shots fired. Officers arrived on-scene and located one male subject suffering what appeared to be gun shot wounds. This individual was treated on-scene and transported to a local hospital with non-life-threatening wounds.
Shortly after the first individual was located, a second adult male was found nearby also suffering from what appeared to be a gunshot wound. This male was treated on-scene and transported to a local hospital for non-life-threatening wounds.
