Marjorie “Marge” Huftalin, 80, of Osage, passed away March 3, 2023 at the Mitchell County Regional Health Center in Osage, Iowa.
A memorial service for Marge Huftalin will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, March 11, 2023 at Our Savior’s Lutheran Church in Osage with Pastor Cindy Krause officiating.
Marjorie Ann (Cedarholm) Huftalin was born on August 20, 1942 in Rochelle, Illinois. Marge was the daughter of Ellwood and Alberta (Quitno) Cedarholm. She graduated from Rochelle High School, Rochelle, Illinois and the Professional Business Institute, Minneapolis, Minnesota. She worked for the DeKalb Medical Clinic and the DelMonte Corporation.
Marge married Ray Huftalin on September 3, 1961. Marge was an active member of Our Savior’s Lutheran Church. Marge operated Ewe and Eye with her daughter, Beth for 19 years. She also provided daycare for five of her grandchildren for several years. Marge enjoyed her role as wife, mom and grandma.
She is preceded in death by her parents, sister, Donna Gommel, and grandson Drew Bellairs.
Survived by Raymond Huftalin (husband), children, Beth (Dave) Bellairs, Tim (Deneece) Huftalin, Jeff (Deb) Huftalin and Grant Huftalin. Grandchildren, Jenny (Kyle) Winneker, Natalie Bellairs, Sam Bellairs, Max Huftalin, Eli Huftalin, Megan Huftalin, Ben Huftalin, Nathan Huftalin, Mitch Huftalin, Clint Huftalin, and sister, Mary (Ken) Seim.
