MINNEAPOLIS – Iowa survived Maryland, 89-85, in a Big 10 Conference Tournament semi-final game today, and now faces Ohio State to defend their Big 10 Title.
Iowa (25-6, 15-3) defeated Maryland (26-5, 15-3) today in the Target Center in downtown Minneapolis.
National Player of the Year candidate Caitlin Clark led Iowa with 22 points, nine assists, and five rebounds.
Gabbie Marshall has hit 24 of her last 41 3-point attempts over the last nine games.
Iowa will play in the Bi g Ten Tournament Championship for the second consecutive season.
Kate Martin nearly missed a triple-double with 10 points, seven assists, and nine rebounds.
Marshall tied her career-high with seven 3-pointers made.
Hawkeyes had five in double figures.
Iowa had 24 assists on 12 turnovers.
Iowa led for 38:04.
