Roselyn Christensen, age 92, of Gilmore City passed away on February 19, 2023 at the Humboldt Wellness and Rehabilitation. Funeral services will be 11:00 AM on Saturday at First Lutheran Church in Gilmore City. There will be a time of fellowship immediately following the service. Burial will take place in the Clinton Garfield Cemetery in Rolfe.
Roselyn June Brock, the daughter of James and Emma Brock, was born on June 28, 1930 in Rolfe, Iowa. She graduated from Rolfe High School in 1948. On September 10, 1950 Roselyn was united in marriage with Alvin Christensen at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Rolfe. She was a member of the First Lutheran Church Women and the American Legion Auxiliary.
Left to cherish Roselyn’s memory are her children, Doug (Cynthia) Christensen of Lincoln, NE, Michelle (Kyle) Bissell of Gilmore City and Michael (Lori) Christensen of Cary, IL; five grandchildren; and six great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; a son, Martin Christensen; sisters, Evelyn Leadley and Lucille Keeble; a sister-in-law, Helen Dornath; and a brother-in-law, Harold Christensen.
