College Basketball: #23 Cyclones look for big road win against #9 Texas Tuesday night

AUSTIN, TEXAS - No. 23 Iowa State hits the road for its second road game against an Associated Press Top 15 team in the last four days, as the Cyclones travel to Austin to face No. 9 Texas. The Longhorns enter the game tied for the Big 12 lead.

AUSTIN, TEXAS – No. 23 Iowa State hits the road for its second road game against an Associated Press Top 15 team in the last four days, as the Cyclones travel to Austin to face No. 9 Texas. The Longhorns enter the game tied for the Big 12 lead.

Back on February 13, Iowa State scored a wire-to-wire win over Texas, beating the Longhorns 66-61 in Ames.

The Cyclones lead the country in wins over Associated Press Top 25 and AP Top 10 teams this season. ISU has seven AP Top 25 victories and four AP Top 10 victories.

Iowa State returns home on Saturday for the first of back-to-back home games to close the home portion of the schedule. The Cyclones will face Oklahoma on Saturday, Feb. 25 at 11 a.m. The game will air on ESPN2 or ESPNU. West Virginia invades Hilton Monday night.
