CHICAGO, Ill. – Thursday night’s top-five matchup between No. 2 Indiana and No. 5 Iowa delivered 325,000 viewers, making it the most-watched women’s basketball telecast in Big Ten Network history.
The previous record of 286,000 viewers was set during the 2022 Big Ten Women’s Basketball Tournament in a matchup between Iowa and Nebraska.
A sluggish second-half cost Iowa in this BIG 10 road game as the #5 Hawkeyes couldn’t keep pace with the #2 Indiana Hoosiers, losing 87-78 on the road Thursday night.
The Hawkeyes are set to host Rutgers on Feb. 12. Tip-off in Iowa City is set for 2 p.m. (CT) inside Carver-Hawkeye Arena. The game will broadcast on BTN and the Hawkeye Radio Network.
