LUBBOCK, TX – Iowa State led by 23 points with under 13 minutes to play in this Big 12 Conference road game, but found a way to blow it and lose in overtime Texas Tech, 80-77.
Caleb Grill hit eight 3-pointers for the Cyclones, a career-high, in scoring 24 points on the night.
Iowa State claimed a 59-36 with 12:36 left in the game. Then Texas Tech started hitting shots to chip away at the big lead.
Iowa State drubbed Texas Tech earlier this month in a home game, 84-50.
