Caleb Grill hit eight 3-pointers for the Cyclones, a career-high, in scoring 24 points on the night.

Iowa State claimed a 59-36 with 12:36 left in the game. Then Texas Tech started hitting shots to chip away at the big lead.

Iowa State drubbed Texas Tech earlier this month in a home game, 84-50.

-Caleb Grill set a new career high with eight 3-pointers.
-Caleb Grill connected on a school record eight 3-pointers in a road conference game. The last Cyclone to net eight 3-pointers in a road conference game was Craig Brackins against Baylor on January 12, 2008.
