IOWA CITY – No. 10 Iowa beat Nebraska for the seventh straight time, 80-76, inside Carver-Hawkeye Arena on Saturday afternoon.
All-American Caitlin Clark registered her 36th career double-double with 33 points, 12 rebounds and nine assists. Clark has notched a double-double in her fifth straight game.
Clark has registered 10 or more assists in five straight contests.
Clark’s current stretch of five consecutive 20-point/10-assist games is the most by a Division I player in the past 20 seasons.
Clark extended her streak of scoring in double figures an astounding 73 games, which is a NCAA Division I best.
Clark has netted a 3-point basket in 40 straight games. She has hit at least one 3-pointer in 81 career games.
Molly Davis made her second career start at the University of Iowa.
It was Clark’s 12th game this season with +25 points, +5 rebounds, and +5 assists which is an NCAA best. She has done it 34 times in her career.
Monika Czinano has shot at least 70% from the field in five of the last six games. She was 7-10 today with 17 points and seven rebounds.
