Theodore Thomas Wolf

Theodore “Ted” Wolf is still missing, at this time. He is 83 years old.

Police say Mr. Wolf was involved in a minor vehicle accident on January 16, 2023, around 4 PM in Johnson County, Iowa. The accident occurred on Highway 965 at Amana Road, but law enforcement was not called to the scene to investigate. Mr. Wolf and the other driver exchanged information before Mr. Wolf was seen heading west on County Rd 120 from Highway 965 (towards Swisher).

Mr. Wolf’s age and medical condition are added concerns, police say, regarding his well-being and whereabouts as he has not been seen for almost a week, now. When he left his home, he did not have his cell phone and would have been headed towards Lisbon (via Hwy 13 and Hwy 30) for a scheduled appointment. He did not arrive at that appointment and there are no known financial transactions on his accounts, since he was last seen.

Additionally, an airplane was used but was unsuccessful in an attempt to locate his vehicle, a red 2018 Ford Edge Titanium SUV (Iowa handicapped plate EL 779), similar to the one in the attached photo.

Mr. Wolf is 5-foot-9-inches tall and weighs 225 lbs. He was driving a red 2018 Ford Edge.

Anyone with information should contact police.
