She attended school with the last graduating class of Plymouth High School in 1959. On August 24, 1963 she married the love of her life, Thomas E. Lehmann at the Rock Creek Lutheran Church in Rural Osage. The couple was blessed with two children, Jay and LaDonna. Lois worked at EF Johnsons, Fieldstone, and for almost 12 years at the Clear Lake Bakery. Though she took retirement in 1996, she enjoyed working at Walmart as a greeter from 2002 to 2008, where she looked forward to talking to everyone.

Lois was a longtime member of Zion Lutheran Church.

She and Thomas took many trips to Branson. She enjoyed watching baseball and football and looked forward to trips to Minnesota for the Twins and Vikings. She adored her grandchildren, and cherished time spent with family.

Those left to cherish her memory are her children, Jay E. Lehmann and LaDonna A. (Terry) Hansen of Clear Lake; grandchildren, Gary (Mariah Wipf-Tatro) Hansen and Devin Hansen; brothers-in-law, Frederick (Ruth) Lehmann of Mason City and Vern Abrahams of Brownsville, TX; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and extended family.

Preceding her in death are her husband, Thomas; parents; sister, Ruth Abrahams; parents-in-law, Kenneth (Dorothy) Lehmann; brother-in-law, Kevin Lehmann; sister-in-law, Carolyn (Max) Hubbard of Mason City; and a niece, Tami Hubler.
