CEDAR FALLS – The UNI men’s and women’s basketball teams are set to take to the streets of Cedar Falls Sept. 29 for Main Street Madness.

The free event is a one-of-a-kind fan experience in downtown Cedar Falls co-sponsored by First Bank and Structure Real Estate.

In partnership with Community Main Street and River Place Plaza, all vehicular traffic will be restricted on State Street near River Place Plaza, allowing fans to freely walk to preview the 2022-23 Panther basketball teams.

Main Street Madness starts at 5:30 p.m. with a social hour followed by the basketball teams arriving at 6 p.m. The Panthers will take the court for some skill challenges and public interaction.

Fans will be treated to a live DJ and giveaways. Food and beverages will be available for purchase at the event. Fans will get a chance to engage with student-athletes and coaches from both the men’s and women’s basketball teams.

Registrations are encouraged, but walk-ups are welcomed. Click here to register.
