AMES – The Iowa State Cyclones defeated Southeast Missouri, 42-10, on Saturday at MidAmerican Energy Field at Jack Trice Stadium in the season opener.
Iowa State led 21-10 at halftime.
IowaState’s new QB, Hunter Dekkers, threw for 293 yards on 25-of-31, with an interception on the day.
Iowa State travels to Iowa City next Saturday to take on the Iowa Hawkeyes in Kinnick Stadium.
