OBIT: Kyle Rehm

Kyle S. Rehm, the son of Bob and Jo Rehm, was born on August 3, 2000, in Biloxi, Mississippi. He died on Tuesday, June 28, 2022, in Rural Emmet County at the age of 21 years.

Kyle received his education and graduated from GTRA High School in 2018. While in high school, he worked at the Graettinger Swimming Pool.

In September 2019 he began working for River Valley Telecommunications until May of 2021. Most recently he was working for Woodford Equipment in Emmetsburg, Iowa.

Kyle loved coaching the youth in MYFL, he also liked to golf at the Hillcrest Golf Course, enjoyed hunting, and any sports, including the Iowa Hawkeyes, Oakland Raiders, Minnesota Twins, New York Yankees, and the Alabama Crimson Tide.

Kyle is survived by his parents, Bob and Jo Rehm; his siblings, Alex (Brock) Matheason, Ashley (Drew Disterhoft) Rehm, Austin Rehm, Alana (Brandon) Adams, and Lauren Love-Rehm; nieces, Blake and Cadence; grandparents, Linda Hughes and Terry and Sheryl Chamberlain; and close family friends, Christy and Charles Mintah; as well as many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Kyle was the type of person who could start a conversation with anyone and always wanted everyone to feel welcomed and included. Whether it was 10 minutes or 10 years you’d never feel the difference around Kyle.

Anyone that knew Kyle has laughed at one of his many witty jokes. Kyle will be remembered by his sharp mind of being able to recite sports stats at the drop of hat, his smart-ass humor and the love he had for his nieces.

He is preceded in death by his grandfather, Jim Hughes, Cheryl Hughes and best friend, Noah Flaherty.
