Martin Jones, 69, of Iowa Falls, passed away on Saturday, June 18, 2022 at Mercy Medical Center in Mason City. Graveside services will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers please make a donation to the Green Belt Humane Society or to St Jude Children’s Hospital. Funeral arrangements are under the guidance of the Surls Funeral Home in Iowa Falls.
Martin Lynn Jones was born on June 25, 1952 in Iowa Falls, Iowa to Virgil and Audre (Harris) Jones. He attended and graduated from Iowa Falls High School. On February 26, 1979, Martin was united in marriage to Susan Fogarty in Eldora. He was a member of the Ford Galaxie Club of America. Martin loved his 1967 Ford Galaxie cars. He enjoyed watching the Chicago Cubs and all car shows. He was also an avid cribbage player.
Martin is survived by his wife Susan of Iowa Falls, sister Diane Roberts of Colorado, brother-in-law Daryl Foelske of Colorado, nephews Eric (Kristy Medberry) Foelske and Brett (Elizabeth) Foelske. He was preceded in death by his parents, sister Malinda and brother-in-law Dennis Roberts.
