January 6 Committee to hold third hearing Thursday at noon: WATCH VIDEO

They wanted Mike Pence as they stormed the Capitol, and erected a gallows as the politician hid with his family

WASHINGTON, D.C. – The January 6 Committee is holding its third hearing Thursday at noon, laying out further details on the treasonous insurrection and attack on the U.S. Capitol, this time focusing on the harrowing danger Vice President Mike Pence faced as crazed lunatics loyal to his master Donald Trump possibly sought to hang him (they erected a gallows outside).

Meanwhile, on Wednesday, Committee Chairman Bennie G. Thompson (D-MS) today renewed the Select Committee’s request to Representative Barry Loudermilk of Georgia to provide information for the committee’s investigation. In a letter to Rep. Loudermilk, Chairman Thompson underscored the need for the committee to gather more information about certain individuals who were part of the tour Rep. Loudermilk led through parts of the Capitol complex on January 5, 2021.

Loudermilk

Chairman Thompson wrote, “On May 19, 2022, the Select Committee invited you to meet with us about evidence of a tour you provided on January 5, 2021. Based on our review of surveillance video, social media activity, and witness accounts, we understand you led a tour group through parts of the Capitol complex on January 5, 2021. That group stayed for several hours, despite the complex being closed to the public on that day.

“Surveillance footage shows a tour of approximately ten individuals led by you to areas in the Rayburn, Longworth, and Cannon House Office Buildings, as well as the entrances to tunnels leading to the U.S. Capitol.”

Does it all lead back… to Donald Trump?

Chairman Thompson continued, “Individuals on the tour photographed and recorded areas of the complex not typically of interest to tourists, including hallways, staircases, and security checkpoints.”

Last month, the Select Committee sent its initial request to Rep. Loudermilk.
