DES MOINES – Republicans in the Iowa Legislature just approved bill allowing deer to be hunted with AR-15 rifles.
The bill is on Governor Kim Reynolds’ desk awaiting her signature, which she will surely provide.
Rep. Todd Prichard, a Democrat from Charles City with military experience, has said the bullets can travel over 2 miles.
AR-15 rifles and similar guns have been used to mass-murder children in schools. Yesterday’s Texas massacre involved these guns, which were reportedly legally-bought by the killer.
As long as only Republican homes are down-range of the yahoos with the sexy AR-15s, I see no problem.
An AR-15 doesn’t shoot any differently than any other hunting rifle, there is no difference at all. One pull of the trigger one shot. They are not automatic, they are semi automatic. Only people that are ignorant of guns and know nothing about them think they are assault weapons.
How could this go wrong?
Stop spreading propaganda, lies, do some research. The AR 15 is not an assult rifle.

The AR-15 uses 5.56×45mm or .223 Remington which is smaller and slower in comparison to some of the listed ammo.
