MANCHESTER, IOWA – An Iowa man was busted with drugs and a child, as he was headed to Minnesota to meet another child for a date.
On September 19, 2021, 2021 the Manchester Police Department received a complaint of a subject that was staying in Manchester. The subject had a runaway with him from Indiana. An investigation uncovered the subject had picked the runaway up near their home in Indiana. They were traveling to Minnesota where they were to meet another juvenile for a date. Officers also uncovered the subject had given the juvenile illegal narcotics.
As a result of police investigation, Manchester Chief of Police James R. Hauschild announced that 41-year-old Kenneth Lloyd Henderson from Maquoketa, Iowa, was arrested February 1, 2022 on charges of
– 3 counts Drug Distribution Violation to a Person Under 18 a Class B felony
– Harboring a Runaway an Aggravated Misdemeanor
– Distributing Drug to a Minor an Aggravated Misdemeanor
Henderson bonded out of the Delaware county jail.
