CLARKSVILLE, IOWA – A Clarksville man was nabbed by cops for stealing from a store Monday.
On Monday, January 10, 2022, the Clarksville police were requested at a local business for an alleged theft and intoxicated person in the store. Officers arrived on scene and made contact with T Y Burlingame, age 57 of Clarksville, who was stumbling on the sidewalk just outside of the business. After a brief investigation it was determined Burlingame was in possession of stolen property from the business and was intoxicated.
Burlingame was arrested for 3rd degree theft, due to numerous prior theft convictions, and public intoxication.
