IOWA CITY – The No. 9 Iowa Hawkeyes defeated the Michigan State Spartans, 88-61, at Carver-Hawkeye Arena in Iowa City, Iowa.

The win marks head coach Lisa Bluder’s 800th career win.

Sophomore Caitlin Clark tallied 24 points, 10 rebounds and 12 assists, registering her third career triple-double and making her the second Hawkeye in program history to record three or more in their career. Former Hawkeye Sam Logic recorded six in her career and recorded the last triple double against a Big Ten opponent on Feb. 16, 2014 against Purdue.

Three Hawkeyes scored in double figures, including Clark (24), junior McKenna Warnock (21) and senior Monika Czinano (19).

Warnock’s 21 points and Clark’s 12 assists registered new season bests. Czinano’s seven rebounds tied her season high.
