Sandra Jo Sunde, daughter of Orval and Della (Erickson) Taylor, was born on July 31, 1940 in Estherville, Iowa and departed this life on October 22, 2021 at Aspire Nursing Home in Lake Park, Iowa at the age of 81.
Sandy graduated from Estherville High School in 1958. She was united in marriage to Verlyn Sunde on June 1, 1958 at the Estherville Lutheran Church.
Sandy worked many years at Iowa Lakes Electric Cooperative as the customer service manager. After retiring, she worked for FEMA, responding to declared disaster areas throughout the United States.
Sandy is survived by her husband Verlyn. She was predeceased by her parents and sister Cheryl (Larry) Friesner.
A private burial will take place at a later date.
