Dennis (Skeet) Wray Bonin, 69, of Iowa Falls, Iowa passed away Sunday, November 7, 2021, at his home. Funeral services for Denny Bonin will be 10:30 am Wednesday, November 10, 2021 at The River’s Edge Church, 204 College Avenue, Iowa Falls. A time of visitation will be from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm Tuesday November 9, 2021 at the Linn’s Funeral Home Iowa Falls Chapel, 1521 Washington Avenue, Iowa Falls. Dennis Bonin was born February 23, 1952, in Iowa Falls to Herman (Slim) William and Inez L (Reynolds) Bonin. Dennis attended Iowa Falls School graduating with the class of 1970. He graduated from Ellsworth College in 1992 with an Assoiates degree in Accounting.
Denny was married to Marsha Brinkman and had two sons Alan and Danny. He later married Debra Banner and they had two children Darren and Lyndsey. Denny and Tracy Stegen had a daughter Dayna. He later married Cindy Van Langen. Denny had worked many years at Weavers in Alden and retired from Innovative Ag. Some of Denny’s favorite pastimes were golf, pool league and arm wrestling tournaments.
Denny is survived by his wife: Cindy Van Langen of Hampton; his children: Alan Bonin of Marshalltown; Danny (Amy) Bonin of Hubbard; Darren Bonin of Iowa Falls; Lyndsey (Scott) Richardson of Parnell; Dayna Bonin of Independence; six grandchildren: Ali, Dylan, Lynae, Bentley, Brynleigh, and Logan; four bonus kids and fourteen bonus grandkids: five brothers: Bill Bonin of Iowa Falls, Randy (Vickie) Bonin of Iowa Falls, Michael of Iowa Falls, Jeffery (Lori) of Iowa Falls; Larry Reed of Houston, Texas; two sisters: Cheryl Johnson of Iowa Falls; Lucy (Ron) Sunken of Iowa Falls; Best friend: Deb Evanson of Iowa Falls and many nieces and nephews.
Denny is preceded in death by: his parents; a brother: Tom Brighton; a sister: Barbara Wright; infant brother: Johnny Reed; son: Anthony Wagoner; brother in-law: Jon Finlayson; father in-law Robert Banner; mother in-law: Billie Rardin; brother in-law: Mike Johnson; sister in-law: Tammy Bonin; and a niece: Brandy Hill.
