Bonita “Bonnie” Louise (Klassen) Boggess, 72, of Charles City, was born August 8, 1949. After battling cancer for 20 months, Bonnie went to her Heavenly home on November 4, 2021.
According to her wishes, Bonnie will be cremated and there will be no services.
Bonnie was a teacher at Immaculate Conception Catholic School for 34 years. She and Larry recently celebrated their 25th Wedding Anniversary. Bonnie loved dogs and truck pulls.
Living family members include her husband, Larry Boggess; two beloved dogs; siblings: Mary Ashley, Marguerite (Jim) Ashley and William (Faye) Klassen; sister-in-law and brother-in-law Dorothy (Boggess) and Richard Vandeventer; 12 nieces and nephews; along with numerous great-nieces, great-nephews and friends.
Bonnie was preceded in death by her parents, William and Rita (Schwickerath) Klassen; mother-in-law and father-in-law, Harlie and Daisy Boggess; and brother-in-law, Martin Ashley.
