Geraldine Zeman, age 92, of West Bend, passed away Monday, October 25th at the West Bend Health and Rehabilitation Center. Mass of the Christian Burial will be 10:30 AM on Friday at the Divine Mercy Catholic Parish – St. Peter and Paul in West Bend. Burial will take place in the West Bend Cemetery. Visitation will be 9:30 am until service time at the church on Friday.
Geraldine Helen Zeman, the daughter of Anton and Helen (Terhurne) Nielsen, was born on October 25, 1929 in Breckenridge, MN. She graduated from Rolfe High School in 1947. On August 17, 1949 Geraldine was united in marriage with Clarence Zeman in Rolfe. Geraldine enjoyed playing cards and sewing. She had sewn several bridal gowns, bridesmaid dresses and prom dresses.
Left to cherish Geraldine’s memory are her children, Pat Petty of Oklahoma City, OK and Mark (Mary) Zeman of Greenville, SC; adopted son-in-law Simon Simonson; daughter-in-law, Nancy Simonson of Emmetsburg; granddaughters, Tanya Zeman of West Bend, Jodi (John) Orman of Oklahoma City, OK and Sondra (Rod) Johnson of Whittemore; 9 great grandchildren; and 5 great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; sons, Gerald and Stephen; grandson, Simon Simonson, Jr.; a brother, Gerald; and a sister, JoAnn.
