CASS COUNTY, IOWA – A Northern Iowa man is dead in a head-on collision in Cass county.
The Iowa State Patrol says the accident occurred on Monday, October 25, 2021. At 5:30 AM that morning, a 2001 Lincoln LS driven by 26-year-old Bryce Baker of Atlantic, Iowa, was southbound on 620th Street. At that time, a 2010 Chevy SLV driven by 64-year-old Bernard Sullivan was northbound on 620th Street. Fo unknown reason, The Linvoln LS crossed the center line and struck the Chevy head-on. As a result of the collision, 29-year-old Griffin Ferguson of Humboldt, Iowa was killed. Griffin and Ferguson were both injured and airlifted from the accident to hospitals.
The investigation into the crash is on-going.
