Garner man dies in auto Friday crash

HANCOCK COUNTY – A Garner man died as a result of an auto crash Friday in Hancock county.

According to the Iowa State Patrol, the accident occurred Friday, October 1, 2021 at about 5:15 AM. A 2003 Ford F-350 operated by 25-year-old Noah M. Clites of Garner was traveling southbound on Rake Avenue near Highway 18 when he lost control of the vehicle. The pickup truck then entered a ditch and rolled, partially ejecting Clites, who died as a result of the crash.

The Iowa State Patrol was assisted by the Hancock Couthy Sheriff Office and the Garner Police Department.
