CORALVILLE – An Iowa sex offender died in prison, the state’s corrections department says.
Ronald K. Hendricks was pronounced dead at 3:10 p.m. on Wednesday, August 25, 2021 in the infirmary of the Iowa Medical and Classification Center where he had been housed due to cancer. Hendricks was 74 years old at the time of his death.
Hendricks had been serving a 75-year maximum term for the crimes of Sexual Abuse 2nd Degree from Sac County. His sentence began on November 17, 1992.
