CEDAR FALLS – UNI’s season-opening football game at Iowa State will kickoff at 2:30 p.m. on Sept. 4 and will be broadcast live on ESPN+.
The game is the thirty-third in the series. The Panthers trail the all-time mark 6-23-3, but have beat the Cyclones three times since 2007.
The last meeting between the two teams, in 2019, was a three-overtime classic that saw ISU hold out for a 29-26 win.
The game is the first of three non-conference games for UNI. The others being a road game at Sacramento State on Sept. 11 and St. Thomas on Sept. 18. The Panthers open the Valley season at home against Youngstown State on Oct. 2 after a bye week.
Times for the remaining games will be announced at a later date.
