DAVENPORT – A Georgia man is behind bars on a murder charge after a fatal shooting in Davenport this weekend.
On Sunday, May 9th, at approximately 1:25 pm, Davenport Police responded to 1503 Calvin St reference a disturbance. Officers arrived and found one gunshot victim. Davenport Fire and Medic responded and pronounced the victim deceased.
The victim has been identified as Wilanna S. Bibbs, 20 years old of Durham, North Carolina.
Justin L. Wright, 31, of Atlanta, GA, has been arrested and charged with Murder 1st Degree.
Detectives continue to investigate this incident. No further details are available at this time.
