Linda J. Johnson, 65, of Manly, passed away, Monday, April 26, 2021 at the University Of Iowa in Iowa City.
A Memorial Service will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday, May 1, 2021, at Bride Colonial Chapel, 110 Spring Street, Manly, Iowa, with Father Josh Link, celebrant. Burial will be held at a later date.
Visitation will be held one hour prior to services.
Memorial contributions may be directed to Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Manly.
Linda was born August 4, 1955, the daughter of Elmer and Lenora (Wise) Johnson in Manly.
Linda grew up and attended Sacred Heart School in Manly, graduated from North Central High. After high school, she did attain her CNA at North Iowa Community College.
She worked as a CNA for the Lutheran Retirement Home for twenty years, and ten years at the Manly Nursing Home.
Growing up on a farm, Linda always had a love for animals throughout her life. Most of all, she loved spending time with her family and friends.
Linda is survived by her three siblings, Genevieve Grube of Mason City; Leroy Johnson of Manly and Dennis Johnson of Manly and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Elmer and Lenora Johnson; sister, Ann Aguillera and brother, Robert Johnson; sister in-law, Roberta Johnson; brother in-law, Carl Grube and beloved dog, Marley.
