ARMSTRONG, IOWA – A Kossuth county sheriff’s deputy on patrol in Armstrong on March 16th observed some suspicious behavior in the Casey’s General Store at 3:25 pm. The deputy following the vehicle and observed a traffic violation. The deputy then initiated a traffic stop on the vehicle.
Upon investigation at the scene, controlled substances and drug paraphernalia were discovered. As a result, the driver of the vehicle, David Miller age (32) and Jose Nestor age (30) both of Ceylon were placed under arrest.
Both men were transported to the Emmet County Jail where they were booked for Possession of a controlled substance 1st offense (marijuana) and possession of drug paraphernalia.
A charge is merely an allegation and all persons are presumed innocent unless or until they are found guilty in a court of law.
