RURAL CLEAR LAKE – A woman was hurt in a two-vehicle collision outside Clear Lake Friday.
On February 5, 2021 at about 11:00 AM, the Cerro Gordo Sheriff’s Office responded to a report of a two-vehicle accident with injuries at 310th Street and Eagle Avenue, northwest of Clear Lake.
Daniel Oleson, age 33 of Mason City, was eastbound in a 2013 Chevy Silverado on 310th Street when he slid through the intersection, striking a 2019 Dodge Durango northbound on Eagle Ave driven by 60-year-old Lori Adams of Joice. All subjects were wearing seat belts at the time of the accident and airbags deployed in both vehicles.
Adams was transported by Clear Lake Fire Medics to MercyOne Mason City for injuries. Oleson was cited for Fail to Obey Stop Sign and Yield Right of Way.
The accident remains under investigation.
