MASON CITY – The NIACC volleyball team is ranked No. 16 in the latest NJCAA Division II poll released Monday.
NIACC (2-1 overall, 2-1 in the ICCAC) split a pair of matches last week against teams that were rated in the Jan. 25 poll. NIACC dropped a 3-2 decision to now No. 12 Hawkeye CC and picked up a 3-2 decision from Northeast CC, which was ranked No. 17 last week.
NIACC was ranked 15th in the first two polls of the season.
NIACC returns to action Thursday at No. 9 Kirkwood (2-1, 2-1). The Lady Trojans also play at No. 11 (NJCAA Division I0 Iowa Western (3-3, 2-0) on Sunday.
