CEDAR FALLS – The UNI Football opener against Illinois State was moved to Friday, Feb. 19 at 7 p.m., UNI Football announced today.
UNI Athletics also announced that the three remaining home games are scheduled for 4 p.m. kickoffs.
The road game against South Dakota will kick off at 6 p.m., the game against Western Illinois will kick at 1 p.m. and the game against Southern Illinois is set for 12 p.m.
The Panthers were picked second in the fall STATS Preseason Poll and return much of their offensive prowess, including All-American receiver Isaiah Weston and Honorable Mention All-MVC quarterback Will McElvain.
The UNI defense returns Freshman All-American corner Omar Brown and Sophomore All-American Bryce Flater and Second-Team All-MVFC tackle Jared Brinkman.
