MASON CITY – A long-time Mason City tax & accounting business has found a new home in a familiar, customer-friendly environment.
D & S Services, owned and operated by Julia Dannen, E.A., is opening its doors in Willowbrook Mall beginning on January 1st of 2021.
D & S Services started operations in Southbridge Mall in 2000 and was a mainstay on the north end of the mall by the food court. The recent developments between Southbridge Mall/City of Mason City included the construction of the band pavilion in the location housing D & S Services. D & S Services was forced to move to a less desirable location in the mall. Due to structural issues with the roof and lack of repair, D & S Services decided to find a more desirable location on the busier west side of Mason City.
Dannen says the move is all about maintaining a professional, helpful, safe, clean and friendly environment for the customers with ease of access to the new office.
“As any small business owner knows, sometimes change is needed and can be a good thing”, Dannen explained. “I’m excited to offer a change of scenery to our customers as we put the finishing touches on our new office in Willowbrook Mall. The management has been very welcoming in the process of moving there. Our customers will find that Willowbrook Mall offers ample parking with multiple entrances into the mall. There are other great businesses there which makes for an inviting experience for everyone.”
D & S Services is a full-service boutique tax & accounting firm with customers throughout the North Iowa area and beyond. They serve folks who need business or personal tax services including assistance with individual or business tax preparation, annual or quarterly payroll reporting, bookkeeping, audit representation, and tax debt resolution. Dannen says customers will continue to see the high level of service they received over the past 21 years.
“We will have another busy tax season just as we always do,” she said. “We are taking appointments now and would love to have current and new clients visit our new location in Willowbrook Mall and discuss their tax situations and concerns.”
