On Sunday, December 27, 2020 at approximately 4:22 AM, Waterloo Police and Waterloo Fire Rescue were dispatched to the area of Iowa and 4th Street, on report of a shooting victim. Upon their arrival they found an adult male suffering from apparent gunshot wounds. The victim was taken by ambulance to Unity Point Hospital where he died from his injuries. The investigation into this matter is ongoing. Waterloo Police continue to seek out, and speak with witnesses to this incident.
