AMES – Iowa State lost a home Big 12 Conference game to Kansas State Tuesday night, 74-65.
Iowa State had taken its first lead of the game on a dunk by freshman Xavier Foster at 13:48 in the game. However, Iowa State (1-3, 0-1 Big 12) was then subdued by K-State (3-4, 1-0 Big 12) as the Wildcats went on a 13-0 run.
Junior Rasir Bolton led Iowa State with a game-high 19 points.
Iowa State has lost three games in a row since winning its season opener over Arkansas-Pine Bluff on Nov. 29. J
Iowa State hits the road on Friday, Dec. 17 to take on No. 8 West Virginia. Tip time between the Cyclones and Mountaineers is set for 8 p.m. from WVU Coliseum. That game will be broadcast on ESPNU.
