AMES – Iowa State remained on top of the Big 12 Conference with a resounding victory over Kansas State Saturday, 45-0.
The Cyclones (6-2, 6-1) led 7-0 after one quarter but put the game out of reach for the Wildcats (4-4, 4-3) with a 28-0 second quarter.
Breece Hall ran wild versus K-State, racking up 135 yards on just 13 carries, plus two touchdowns. ISU QB Brock Purdy threw for three touchdowns.
Iowa State next plays a road game at Texas on Nov. 27.
