CLEAR LAKE – A Mason City man was nabbed by cops in Clear Lake after a business alarm was set off and a foot chase ensued.
Early Tuesday morning, November 3, 2020 at 1:25 AM, Clear Lake police officers responded to a business alarm in the 400 block of 1st Avenue South. When the officers arrived, they saw a broken window and found Terry Lee Fink II near the entrance. Fink fled from the business, but was apprehended after a short foot chase.
After an investigation was conducted at the scene Fink, age 48, out of Mason City, Iowa was charged with:
– Burglary 3rd Degree
– Criminal Mischief 3rd Degree
– Interference with Official Acts
– Possession of Burglary Tools
– Public Intoxication
– Theft 5th Degree
Fink also had two outstanding arrest warrants from another agency.
Fink was transported to the Cerro Gordo County Jail without incident.
