Osage pair face felonies for alleged burglaries

OSAGE – Following a burglary investigation by the Osage Police Department, multiple felony charges were filed on two Osage residents.

Zebulon Rosendahl, 26 years old and Amanda Smith, 25 years old were both charged with Burglary 2nd Degree-Class C Felony and 3 counts of Burglary 3rd Degree – Class D Felonies. Both subjects are being held at the Mitchell County Jail. This is an ongoing investigation and more charges are expected.

The Osage Police Department was assisted in this investigation by Osage Residents, the Mitchell County Sheriff’s Office and the Mason City Police Department.

Numerous items have been seized from these subjects and Osage police encourage homeowners to check their garages and vehicles for any missing property and call the Osage Police Department with any questions 641-732-3777.   Police further encourage all residents to keep diligent in locking their homes, garages, and vehicles and to report any suspicious activity.
