SAC CITY – A Northern Iowa woman has been arrested for stabbing a man early Tuesday morning.
On September 22, 2020 at approximately 05:37 a.m. the Sac City Police Department responded to 516 South 9TH Street in Sac City, Iowa for a report of a stabbing. On scene, the officer found a 26-year-old male laying on the floor with a stab wound. The suspect, 24-year-old Rae Horton of Sac City, Iowa was immediately taken into custody. The male was transported to Loring Hospital in Sac City, Iowa and was later transported to another hospital with non-life threatening wounds.
Horton was arrested and charged with Willful Injury Causing Serious Injury, a Class “C” Felony and Domestic Abuse Assault with the Intent to Cause Serious Injury, a Aggravated Misdemeanor. She was booked into the Sac County Jail and is being held on no bond.
