MASON CITY – The City of Mason City has free fill available for residential use for pick-up by appointment or Street Division Staff can deliver. Deliveries will be made between 7 am – 3:30 pm Monday-Friday and will be made to all residents in Mason City and extended to a 10 mile radius outside of Mason City.
If interested in a fill delivery, contact Street Division Supervisor Bob Berggren at (641) 420-1999 with the individual’s name, contact phone number, address, type of fill desired and the location where the fill should be dumped. The delivery area will need to be accessible to a single axle dump truck. The City will not be responsible for damage to sod or lawns. If the dump site is too wet, staff will dump the fill as close to the location as possible.
