DES MOINES – The Iowa Department of Public Health (IDPH) has been notified of 118 additional positive cases for a total of 1,388 positive cases. There have been an additional 862 negative tests for a total of 14,565 negative tests to date, which includes testing reported by the State Hygienic Lab and other labs.
According to IDPH, an additional 2 deaths were also reported.

The state of Iowa has started sharing the number of negative tests conducted at outside labs, and is providing additional information on the conditions of those infected with COVID-19.
Be realistic. The month of May will find workers still at home. The unemployment is beefed upped till July 31st. Just looking around at the new national hot spots to come you can plainly see that this disruption will be around another 6 weeks. And in 12 weeks it’s the 4th of July. Just a measly 84 days away. No large crowds in Clear Lake is a no brainer. No Carnival/parade. No money coming in means layoffs with no call backs. The unemployed is going to be so massive this summer nationwide.
